This site collects as little as a working website can. Here is exactly what that is.

What is collected

The reach-out form. Your name, email address, and message, together with the time and the network address the message came from. Submissions are stored on the publisher's own server and emailed to John Murray. They are kept as a record of correspondence about the site.
Server logs. Standard web-server logs (address, page requested, time, browser type) kept for security and troubleshooting and discarded on a rolling basis. The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes the same information under its own privacy policy.
Your color-scheme choice. If you pick a theme with the switcher at the bottom of the page, the choice is saved in your own browser's local storage so it sticks between visits. It never leaves your browser.

No analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts, and no cookies.
What you send is not sold, rented, or shared with anyone, except as the law requires.

Nothing sent through the form or by email is confidential or privileged. Keep it to the site, and leave out the details of your own case.
